ZTIKIX

ZTIKIX Public Use Licence

Version 1.2 · Drafted 6 September 2026

Use it. Share it. React with it.

Personal reactions and edits, ordinary non-promotional brand replies, journalism with credit, education and associations, free messaging packs, free sticker distribution and permitted AI learning are welcome without a prior request. Selling the identity, other merchandise, advertising and misleading official use are not covered. Campaign, armaments and mascot-sexualisation exclusions remain. The full terms below control, not this summary.

1. Scope and rights holder

This licence covers the official ZTIKIX character, name, logos, illustrations, stickers, animations and associated public descriptive content published by the rights holder on ztikix.com or through the official accounts linked from that website. Together these are the ZTIKIX Materials. “ZTIKIX” means the individual rights holder publishing under that name and any lawful successor.

It grants only rights the rights holder is entitled to grant. Third-party content and private material are excluded. It is not a transfer of ownership, a dedication to the public domain or a claim that ZTIKIX is a registered trademark. Statutory rights and exceptions that apply independently of permission are not restricted.

2. Worldwide permission to use and share

The permissions expressly described below are worldwide, non-exclusive and royalty-free. No request is needed for a use within their scope. Conditions apply to official artwork and recognisable adaptations, including AI-assisted creations. All rights not granted remain reserved.

You may download ZTIKIX, share it in conversations, publish personal reactions, use it in personal videos, memes, commentary, criticism, parody, satire and other personal, non-commercial creations. Your words and context remain yours, not an official statement by ZTIKIX.

3. Personal edits and fan creations

You may change the wording, expression, colours, pose, composition or format of an image for personal, non-commercial use. You may draw new fan artwork or create it with AI and share it publicly under these conditions. You do not need to ask for each edit.

Do not present a fan creation or edited image as an official release or approved statement. Make its non-official status clear whenever the context might otherwise mislead. A special disclaimer is not required in every private message. Any rights in your own original additions do not confer ownership of the underlying ZTIKIX identity.

4. Identification and credit

For ordinary personal reactions, credit is appreciated but not required. Keep existing ZTIKIX identification where reasonably possible. Reasonable resizing, format constraints or incidental cropping are not deliberate concealment; an adjacent credit may be used when practical. Do not intentionally erase identification to conceal the source or claim authorship of official material.

Use “ZTIKIX — ztikix.com” for credits. Credit and a link where practical are required for journalism and in the description or information of public messaging packs. Specialised AI models follow the documentation rule below. Do not remove valid provenance information for the purpose of deceiving others.

5. Ordinary reactions by creators and brand accounts

Individuals, creators, influencers, businesses and brand accounts may post a ZTIKIX as an ordinary, non-promotional conversational reaction without prior approval. This includes a simple thank-you or an expression of surprise in a reply. General platform monetisation of an account does not by itself exclude such a reaction.

This exception does not cover a reaction used in advertising, a sales offer, a product or service promotion, a sponsored placement, paid collaboration, packaging, a recurring brand identity or an implied partnership. A post is not non-promotional merely because publishing it costs nothing. Other commercial uses require written permission.

6. Journalism and genuine editorial use

Use in genuine reporting, journalism, criticism, reviews, documentaries and editorial commentary is permitted without prior permission, with the credit “ZTIKIX — ztikix.com” and a link where the medium allows it. The journalist being paid, the publication being sold or subscription-based, or the media outlet carrying general advertising does not by itself remove this permission.

This exception does not authorise the separate sale or licensing of ZTIKIX artwork, using it to promote the outlet or its subscription offers, advertising, sponsored content, products, or adopting it as the outlet’s mascot or identity. Those uses require written permission. Inclusion must not imply ZTIKIX endorses the outlet or the article’s conclusions.

7. Education and associations

Genuine teaching, learning, research, coursework and non-promotional educational use are permitted without prior permission. Associations, non-profit organisations, collectives and institutions may also use ZTIKIX to illustrate their non-commercial activities and communications without asking first. Credit is appreciated when practical.

This does not permit adoption as the organisation’s logo or official identity, product sales, commercial sponsorship or promotion of commercial partners. It does not create an exception to the political-campaign, armaments, misleading-endorsement or other prohibited-use provisions. The purpose of the use matters, not merely the organisation’s legal form.

8. Physical stickers and free distribution

Individuals may make physical ZTIKIX stickers themselves or pay a printer to produce them for personal use, gifts and genuinely free distribution to the public. This permission covers stickers, including permitted personal adaptations, not other merchandise. Free distribution may not be conditioned on a purchase, payment, mandatory donation or commercial promotional campaign.

A printer or production provider may charge for carrying out such an authorised sticker order. Its permission is limited to fulfilling that order and the technical copies necessary for it. It may not add ZTIKIX to its own ready-to-sell product range, market the identity as its own stock design, reuse it for other products or sell extra copies on its own initiative.

Resale, including at cost, requires written permission. Clothing, hoodies, caps, mugs, posters and other merchandise outside this sticker exception also require permission, including commissioned personal items. Distribution does not authorise placing stickers on property without the owner’s permission or contrary to applicable rules.

9. Free public messaging packs

You may create and share free, non-official ZTIKIX sticker packs for messaging platforms without prior approval, including packs containing a substantial selection. Put the ZTIKIX credit, the source ztikix.com and a link to this licence in the pack information where the platform permits. Distinguish edited fan images from official originals when necessary.

The pack must not be sold, paywalled, used as a paid acquisition incentive, sponsored, or presented as official. Ordinary monetisation by the messaging platform does not by itself invalidate a free pack. A simple page linking to an authorised pack is allowed. This permission does not authorise a separate bulk-download archive or mirror website replacing the official image catalogue.

10. Sharing without a substitute archive

Normal file sharing between people, use through social and messaging features, and the messaging packs expressly permitted above are allowed. The ordinary hosting, caching and display needed by those services for a permitted use are allowed to that extent.

Operating a mirror, public bulk-download library, marketplace or substantially complete substitute image archive requires written permission, even if access is free. This restriction does not cancel the express messaging-pack exception or the distribution of specialised AI models described below; model files and an artwork download library are not the same thing.

11. Learning from public materials

Analysis, indexing, model training, fine-tuning, evaluation and research using publicly accessible ZTIKIX Materials are permitted. This includes internal datasets and general-purpose AI models and services operated commercially. Such a service may earn revenue without needing a separate ZTIKIX permission solely because the permitted materials contributed to learning.

This does not grant commercial rights to the recognisable ZTIKIX character or identity in generated outputs, nor an official affiliation. It does not grant access to contact messages, personal data, credentials, configuration, private files or content not published by the rights holder. Respect access controls and reasonable server capacity. Private data must not be treated as training material under this licence.

12. Free specialised models and AI creations

You may create and distribute a specialised ZTIKIX model or adapter free of charge without asking first. The accompanying documentation must identify it as non-official, credit ZTIKIX, link to this licence and explain that learning permission is not a commercial identity licence. Do not sell the specialised offering or use the ZTIKIX identity to sell access to it without written permission.

Internal training datasets are permitted, but public redistribution of a substantial ZTIKIX artwork dataset requires permission under the archive rule. A model’s documentation and limited illustrative outputs do not by themselves form such an archive. Personal, non-commercial AI creations may be shared under the adaptation rules. Advertising, products or other commercial exploitation of recognisable ZTIKIX outputs requires permission unless an explicit exception in this licence covers the use.

13. Uses that require written permission

Except for the precise exceptions in this licence, written permission is required for advertising, sponsorship, paid collaborations involving ZTIKIX, merchandise and product sales, commissioned manufacturing outside the physical-sticker exception, selling or licensing artwork, and commercial exploitation of the character, name or identity.

Permission is also required to adopt ZTIKIX as the identity, logo or emblem of a third-party account, organisation, product, service, digital collectible collection or other project, whether paid or initially free. Merely naming ZTIKIX to describe permitted use, credit its source or discuss it is allowed.

Send requests through the contact form or contact@ztikix.com. Permission is effective only when expressly granted in writing, on the agreed scope and conditions. A request, silence or an approval for someone else is not permission. Express exceptions in this licence prevail over a general statement requiring permission; the prohibited uses below remain prohibited.

14. Political expression and campaign exclusions

Individuals remain free under this licence to use ZTIKIX for their lawful personal political opinions, criticism, parody or satire. The image does not verify their allegations and does not make their statements ZTIKIX’s statements.

Use by, for or on behalf of political parties, political candidates, election campaigns, campaign teams or organisations acting as their official campaign vehicle is not permitted. This includes supporters or contractors supplying material on their behalf and political advertising. The association, educational, editorial and free-distribution exceptions cannot be used as a workaround for campaign use. Genuine independent reporting about a campaign is distinct from working for it.

15. Weapons and armaments

Use by, for or on behalf of weapons or armaments manufacturers, dealers, distributors, lobbying bodies or their advertising and promotional operations is not permitted, whether paid or unpaid. This exclusion is not available for licensing under this public licence.

Independent lawful reporting, education, criticism or satire about that sector is not an activity on its behalf merely because it discusses it. The same distinction applies to the campaign exclusion. No exception authorises violence, unlawful threats or misleading endorsement.

16. No impersonation or fabricated endorsement

Do not pretend to be ZTIKIX, register confusing names or domains, present an unofficial account as official, claim ownership of the official identity, or suggest an approval, certification, affiliation, partnership or endorsement that does not exist. Using a reaction under this licence gives no official role or commercial licence beyond the express permissions.

Do not use the materials to promote or facilitate unlawful hatred, targeted harassment, unlawful violence, fraud, deception or other illegal conduct. Lawful critical, uncomfortable, provocative or negative expression is not prohibited merely because somebody dislikes it. Users remain responsible for their statements, privacy, third-party rights and applicable platform rules.

17. Adult contexts and the mascot

An otherwise permitted reaction may appear alongside lawful adult content. This does not authorise commercial promotion outside the exceptions above. The ZTIKIX mascot itself must not be sexualised or depicted participating in sexually explicit activity. This limit also applies to adaptations and AI-generated depictions.

18. Duration, compliance and enforcement

Permissions continue without a fixed end while their conditions are respected. Permission for a use outside these terms terminates and that use must stop. Complete correction restores the public permission, except where the rights holder gives notice that deliberate, serious, fraudulent or repeated violations require express permission for further use. Correction does not erase liability for earlier unauthorised acts.

The rights holder may request removal or cessation of unauthorised use and use remedies available under applicable law. A decision not to act in one case does not waive rights in other cases. A permission to share does not authorise selling access, sublicensing outside its stated scope or registering the original materials as your own.

19. Responsibility and legal exceptions

To the extent permitted by mandatory law, the materials are supplied as available, without a warranty of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. No provision excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Users must obtain any independent rights needed for third-party elements, people or content in their compositions.

The permissions do not waive non-waivable moral or other rights, nor override mandatory copyright exceptions, expression rights or other applicable protections. If a provision cannot be enforced in a jurisdiction, the remainder continues to apply to the extent legally possible.

20. Versions, language and governing law

Version 1.2 applies from its publication on the official site to uses under that version. Its drafting date is 6 September 2026; that date does not mean the website was deployed then. Earlier permissions validly obtained under earlier versions and separate written agreements are not retroactively revoked by this update. Keep a copy of the applicable version when needed.

English is the reference language in the event of a discrepancy with the complete French translation, subject to mandatory applicable law. This version is governed by French law without removing mandatory protections applicable in another jurisdiction. Future changes must be published as a dated version; they are not a hidden change to a separate written agreement.

For a permission, clarification, rights or removal request, contact ZTIKIX through the contact page or at contact@ztikix.com. Use it, share it, react with it — without pretending that someone else’s character is your official identity.
